We had a Christmas party at church on Saturday. We ate lots of good food and enjoyed getting to watch all of the little ones play together. Taylor and Noah are finally getting to the age where they can interact more with each other, and it's so cute! Plus, our friends Kami and Robbie were there, and Jude and Ashley's little girl, Lisi, is about the same age, so there were little babies crawling around everywhere!
(Noah found him a piece of string or something on the floor that he found very entertaining, and Taylor was wanting to get in on the action)
All of the kids got up and sang The Nativity Song and acted out the shepherds, wise men, angels, etc. One verse of the song says, "This is the new star shining so bright, lighting the world on that first Christmas night...." When we rehearsed, one of the little girls just held up a picture of a star for that part, but her mom ended up making her a full body, bright yellow star costume where just her face was peaking out. It was hilarious! I wish I had a picture of it. Jared and I were Joseph and Mary, and we used a baby doll for baby Jesus.
(One of the girls let Taylor play with her angel halo)
After all that, Santa showed up!! I was curious to see how Taylor would react. We sat her in his lap, and she just sat there and looked at him. She didn't cry. She didn't smile. She didn't have much of a reaction at all. She did enjoy the candy cane that he gave her though. Noah, on the other hand, quickly showed his dislike for Santa. Apparently he had the same reaction with Santa at Parkway Place mall.

Thanks for posting those pictures. All the little ones where so adorable together. It was so funny because all of them are too young to understand the concept of sharing so they kept stealing each others toys. So funny.
