Well, it has been six months since we first put our house on the market. Everything seemed to be going great. We consistently had people coming to look at the house, and everyone had great things to say about it. We got an offer on the house after it had only been on the market for three months, but since that fell through, things have not gone well. We've only had a couple of people come look since June-- one of which we were told by their realtor that they were going to make us an offer, but they ended up not doing it. So, we had a decision to make and decided to take our house off the market. Our realtor, Jayne, came by today and picked up the sign and lockbox, so it's official. We were just kind of over the process and have already started thinking of plans to improve the house, such as building a deck, so we just wanted to move forward. So, for now, we'll be sticking around Old RR Bed for a while. I'm really not upset about it. Like I said before, we like our house- the main issue was being on a busy road, and it would be nice to be closer to town with gas prices being so high. I know that Heavenly Father plays a role in everything, and He knows what is best for us. The timing just wasn't right. I've said before that we wanted to try to find a house in our same ward. We've made so many good friends, but now, one couple is going to be moving soon, and another one just put their house up for sale. So, if everyone keeps moving away, we definitely won't be limiting our options to just our ward. So, Dawn, your hope is still alive- I know Jared would love to be in South Huntsville so he could be closer to work. Anyway, I know everything will work out in the end.

Hey! It is really fun to see how you guys are doing! How is Alabama these days? We always talk about what a cool state it is, and how we would love to live there. Good luck and keep in touch!
Bummer you won't be moving closer, but I'm glad for you that you can relax about the house and move forward with projects and ideas.
Aw, too bad! The market is really slow right now. At least you don't have to keep it sparkly clean now! :)
Sorry about the house. How is work going? My sister-in-law is a nurse and works once a week to keep up her license. She loves it. She's been able to work her schedule out so that she works one night and her husband is home with the kids. She says nursing is a great job for moms who want to spend most of their time at home. I hope you're enjoying it!
CONGRATS! I just saw your baby counter!!!!!! =)
