Dave & Jess

I don't think I've announced this on my blog before, but Jared's younger brother, David (the youngest of all the Mayfields) is getting married in a couple of weeks. I went with Alisha when she took the engagement pictures for him and his fiancee, Jessica. Alisha did a great job! I think she could really be a professional photographer. She edited a lot of the pictures and put some of the best ones on her blog. There were so many cute and playful ones that I wanted to post a few more here (she used my camera, so I have them all on my computer) :-) Okay, so I'm posting a lot more... there's just so many to choose from! (All of the ones that I'm posting are pre-editing)

I just love the pictures where Jess is cutting her eyes up towards David.

I think they had a really great selection of pictures and lots of background choices. This is the picture that they chose to send out with their wedding announcements.

On June 21st, we had an engagement party for them at their new home. I wish I had gotten a picture of the house, but it probably would have been hard to do with all of the cars that were parked around the house anyway. We grilled out pot-luck style and just hung out and enjoyed each other's company. Alisha graciously allowed me to cut some flowers out of her garden, and then Jess put them into some beautiful arrangements.

Noah's eyes look so amazing in this picture that I had to post it all by itself and not in the collage. We told Noah to say "cheese" when I was taking his picture, and I was very surprised when he actually said it!! (Notice Sarah's reaction in the collage- far right, second row from the bottom).. hehe

We tried to get him to say it again so we could catch it on video, but he was being stubborn.
